Past: Kurly remembers being born in a small cave which served her family’s den for her first six months of life. These were happy times for her with her days spent playing with her siblings and exploring the all wonders of the family's small territory. However such happy times were not meant to last it would seem for about the time Kurly and her siblings were of 6 months of age their mother left the den to hunt food for the family. Kurly thought nothing of this at the time for her mother and father always took turns going out to hunt and bring food back for everyone. So after watching her mother leave for her hunt Kurly went about her day like any pup would first playing with her siblings and then later on heading off to a nearby hill where she had her own adventures of great hunts and battles and sometimes the great leader protecting her pack like she hoped to be one day.
As the day wore on and night began to fall Kurly headed back to the her family's den for the meal she was sure her mother had brought back for them. But when she got there she only found her siblings and father no mother and no meal soon after her father set out to search for her mother leaving Kurly and her siblings alone in the den where they all 3 waited for their father to return with their mother. There she waited with her siblings for what seemed like forever that night maybe her mother had just gotten lost and her father would soon find her and bring her back. But this was not the case as Kurly watched her father walk through the entrance without their mother and said only that her their mother would not be coming back ever.
Poor Kurly to young to understand why her mother had left them had it been something she had done she wondered? Kurly carried on with life along her siblings for the next month still being raised well by their father but always longing for that mother touch as she waited and hoped to she her walk back into their den. A month after their mother leaving them her father told her and her siblings about why their mother had left them and how she had died at the claws of a bear as well as saying they could not see he body one last time. Kurly even being just a pup felt cheated for having her mother taken from her so soon and hoped one day to find and kill the bear who had taken her from her when she grew up. Soon after this her father took her and her brother and sister and joined a near by pack for reasons she didn't fully understand.
The time they spent there was nice there was plenty food lots of new places to explore a great new wolves to meet including a few pups and leaning many new fun and useful skills. However this home was short lived for them also for about 2 months later her father made them all moved again only this one of there number left them her sister Jazzkah who traveled to the south while they head back up northwards and a few days after this her brother Mango choose left. From day on everyday she hopes both her brother and sister are still alive and happy wherever they are.  And so Kurly alone now with only her father followed him back to the pack the territory he'd held and lead once before her time. What would this new pack be like would the wolves be as nice as the last pack they had stayed with, would her father be welcomed back in the territory with open paws along with her? All Kurly knew was they where about to find out as the two of them both entered the den site and waited for a response of some kind.
