This forest takes up a huge chunk of the pack's lands. This is where the den is, as well as the Lake of Red Leaves and Summer Meadows on its borders. The main den is hidden deep into these forests, however the forest isn't that thick; it's hard to get lost. There are other, larger predators such as bears and cougars in this area, so watch out!

Plonking her muscular buttocks on the slightly twiggy leaf-covered forest floor was Runa, a somewhat average looking female with an easy going attitude. Grunting, she rolled onto her back and laid in the sunlight with a content sigh.
So warm. So peaceful.

"BRAAAAAAAAAAAURP!" She released the gas that had been building up inside of her since yesterday - when she ate that funky smelling carcass. The belch was probably loud enough to mistake as a howl or some sort of dinosaur mating call. She couldn't help but giggle a little to herself, and pat herself on the back for such an outstanding noise. Surely no one could beat that... Well, maybe an actual dinosaur or a elephant, but that didn't matter.

(Yay for sucky starting posts.)
