First topic message reminder :

Jeamesero giggled when suddenly Navin came around and glomped to Kanaya. His nervous feeling disappeared as the pup gave him the courage to stay; this pup still loved him, even though Jeamesero kept his distance from them because he was afraid to hurt them.
"Haha, Navin. Well, Kanaya is sure going to stay, so you don't have to worry about that.", Jeamesero said to Navin, before looking at Kanaya, smiling at her. "Right, Kanaya?"
Looking back at Navin he giggled again, and wagged his tail amused. "Since your father is busy, could you give Kanaya her rank? Pleaseeee?"
Jeamesero looked up when he heard paw steps and smelled the scent of an unfamiliar wolf, his eyes met those of another wolf. He didn't know who it was, but this male didn't seem dangerous.
The Hudson Bay wolf smiled at the newcomer, a quick wag of his tail.
"Um hello, nice to meet you, Scout."

The brute scoffed at Makoce,He sneered and spoke, “I already introduce3d myself, Makoce, whilst we were attacking the bear. I am Kazimir. I believe my actions to be of kindness and unselfishness, not stupidity.”
He followed her distant gaze to the sad sight of young bodies. His eyes fell to the earth and a sadness swept over him again. He'd lost those lives, the pack, the family had lost those young lives. Makoce must be feeling the guilt as well, she was a guard like him. They were there to protect, and they had failed.
Kaz brought his eyes back to Makoce's cold stare and his tone softened, he smiled genuinely at the female, despite her harsh glare. “I'd do it again if I had to.” His tone returned as he spoke to Topaz, “Pain reminds me that I am alive. I do not withdraw my statement.”
The guard lay on his left side and loosened the muscles within his right hind leg, careful not to break his wounds open again. “Don't put me through too much hell if you can help it.”
He looked at Makoce. “I don't think I can make it without you, любовь.” [love] He teased, finishing with a chuckle. He turned to Topaz and nodded, “Bring on the pain.”

"I already introduced myself, Makoce, whilst we were attacking the bear."

Makoce's face scrunched in disagreement. She searched her memories for a moment, and let him finish his sentence, before adding,

"No, actually, you didn't. I would've remembered such a unique name, even after a wound and passing out."

Kazimir.

She thought, reminding herself of his name. All she remembered of this male was him asking for a game plan, being wounded, and offering to postpone his treatment for her. She did not recall his name.

"Nevertheless, it's been... Interesting... Meeting you."

She said, her head tilted.

"And you say that your actions were kind and unselfish. I acknowledge that. That is why I told you that I appreciated it. Perhaps stupid was not the proper word. Perhaps..."

She took a moment to think, then added,

"Foreign to me?"

She stopped once she realized what she said. She had accidentally let a little bit of her feelings slip through her mouth.

Counteract.

He looked back at her, a smile on his face, and said he didn't think he could make it without her, and then added a foreign word. Makoce lowered her eyebrows, but kept her cool.

"I'm sure you could, after all I am not the healer. Just in case you didn't notice. If anything, I could actually make it worse for you, but since you have acted unselfishly, I'll control myself... For now."

Her eyebrows raised and a smirk came upon her face. But how he spoke about pain caught her attention.

Interesting.

However, a verbal response to pain was different than mental and physical response. She wanted to see his mental response. Although poetic his words were, they could always be sugarcoated. She didn't know yet. That's what she was looking for.

“Pain reminds me that I am alive. I do not withdraw my statement.” Topaz rolled her eyes. He wanted to play the hardcore hero? Alright then, fine. “Don't put me through too much hell if you can help it.” "No promises," she muttered under her breath.

Kazimir complied with her request and laid himself flat on the ground, showing the wound on his flank and his already-swelling hip. Even if the wound had already stopped healing, it was still open and exposing tissue to the outside world. He'd be at risk of infection if she didn't do something for it, even if the male preferred she handle the dislocated joint first. She scooped the necessary herbs into her mouth and began to chew them into a poultice, spitting the mixture onto his wound and massaging it into the flesh with her nose.
“I don't think I can make it without you, любовь.” While Topaz definitely didn't speak Russian, the word had a soft feel to it, and Kazimir's tone changed as he directed his speech toward Makoce.

"I'm sure you could, after all I am not the healer. Just in case you didn't notice. If anything, I could actually make it worse for you, but since you have acted unselfishly, I'll control myself... For now." Makoce's words were teasing, but there was a certain warmth in her voice that suggested other intentions. Topaz paused for a moment. Were they... flirting?! Right in front of her, completely disregarding her existence? She felt a spike of indignation at the thought.

More out of anger at being so blatantly dismissed than anything, she marched over to Kazimir's supposedly-dislocated hip and felt around. Yep, the joint was out of place. She could feel the hipbone jut out, the sudden dip as the flesh fell and covered his pelvis. She brought her paws up and slammed them down on the bone--a little harder than necessary--and felt a click as the joint popped back into place. She stood and walked back over to her herbs, not even bothering to look back at the two.
"There. You're both fine. Steer clear of using your leg too much, unless you want the joint to pop back out--not that I even care if it does," she growled, her eyes trained on the leaves and stems in front of her. She nosed the piles together, making them more easy to transport.

She looked back up at them, her gaze filled with venom. Was she being overly bitter? Yes, probably. Did she care? Not in the slightest.
"Are you two done here? Or did the bear toss you around even more?"

"Hello, I am Lupa. I'm a new pack member, are you part of the pack? What is your name?"

Zara jumped from the sudden voice which distracted her from her thinking and working progress. Quick to spinning around Zara came face to face with a black female with brown eyes. Her ears flew back against her head as she suddenly felt nervous as she took a few steps back after climbing out the hole. "Uhh."

Her dark red eyes flickered all around seeing it was only her. Finally resting her eyes back on the female, Zara studied the her posture seeing is wasn't anything threatening. Zara couldn't help the sigh that escaped her muzzle before finally giving a small smile at the female realizing how odd she looked digging a hole in this pack's territory.

"I'm Zara, and no I'm not." She spoke lowly as her eyes cast down for this was something she didn't know how to do. "I uh, I don't know the customs of another pack." The strange marking female explained to who she now knew as Lupa.

Her eyes flickered to the hole which she dug that was besides her before looking at Lupa. "I was just digging a hole for the young one who isn't here no more." It was just a kinder way to say dead. After frowning a bit at the body that laid a few feet away she looked back at the black female.

"I, I felt like it was the right thing to do. Sorry if I'm intruding." Zara apologize as she sat down now. She was trying to show she was indeed no threat for more death something that Zara would never forgive herself for.

Kaz grinned, despite his mistake, he knew he'd said his name. Maybe it was to the other battling male. “You think it's unique? That's so sweet of you to say. You're is quite fascinating as well... Mak-oce, Ma-koce.” He over pronounced her name teasingly. His face hardened as Topaz felt around his joint, prodding at it.
”Makoce, I will be sure to show you that kindness is not foreign to me. We will make sure it is no longer foreign to you.”
Topaz's weight came down on his hip without warning and he snarled without intent. The worse of the pain past quickly, however, and he merely kept his teeth bared as the words growled through them. “Never have I been so sure of my existence.”
His fur was bristling and he forced himself to lower his tenseness. His maw returned to it's gentler state and he grinned with a small shake of his head. “Pain is weakness leaving the body. But through that, I'd rather have the weakness.”
He nodded his thanks to Topaz and stood, still favouring his right leg quite strongly. He tested it gently on the ground and winced as the bone felt rough against the joint. He lifted his foot from the earth again and limped to Makoce and grinned. “We're a little decrepit, aren't we?' He chuckled and sat, leaning to the left, next to Makoce.

Lupa watched as the other female drew her head from the ground, looking as if she was frightened with ears flat to the side of her head. She had beautiful black fur with strange white marking that Lupa had never seen before, they were beautiful. "Uhh." She said, looking around and studying Lupa. The female sighed before she spoke again, "I'm Zara, and no I'm not." The female Lupa now knew as Zara, cast her eyes down before continuing. "I uh, I don't know the customs of another pack." Lupa nodded in reply to Zara. "Neither do I, really. I'm just a Warrior. Not someone who is brilliant at socialising." She thought. Zara gestured at the hole she was digging although, Lupa already thought she knew what it was. "I was just digging a hole for the young one who isn't here no more." Lupa nodded again but Zara continued after a frown. "I, I felt like it was the right thing to do. Sorry if I'm intruding." Lupa shook her head. "It is fine, Zara. I'm snew here but I know the pups that aren't here no more were attacked by a bear. I arrived just after the beast was chased off. That is a kind thing to do, let me help you. The former Alpha has returned, too and well he is seeing an old friend who they thought to be dead. The current Alpess went off into the mountains for a breather. But I think the former Alpha has come back to reclaim his title. That is all I know so far. If you wish to join the Alpess will be back before sunset, as she had told everyone. So about that hole?" Lupa said in her deep voice. She did not know how to be social but at least this time she did not just blurt out dead. Lupa was being careful of her word usage for now. "Keep it up mate."

Although today you may weep cause you're weakened

And everything seems so bleak and hopeless

"It is fine, Zara. I'm new here but I know the pups that aren't here no more were attacked by a bear. I arrived just after the beast was chased off. That is a kind thing to do, let me help you."

That was a lot to take in for the female, but Zara was right about it being an animal attacked. Pups. There were more then one, she figured seeing as the smell of death was pretty strong. Death of pups were the worst for they are such innocent creatures. When she offered to help she nodded her head with smile. "That would be great." Grave digging isn't the most pleasurable thing to do.

"The former Alpha has returned, too and well he is seeing an old friend who they thought to be dead. The current Alpess went off into the mountains for a breather. But I think the former Alpha has come back to reclaim his title."

Zara blinked at that. So much is happening which she can imagine to be overwhelming to the pack mates, Zara felt sympathy for them. She can only imagine. Her ears twitched as she mentioned that the Alpha female went off. "Were the pups hers?" Zara wondered out loud for it was a complete understanding that she suddenly left the pack at a vulnerable moment. Zara couldn't imagine the pain threw that, only mothers would which Zara wasn't.

"That is all I know so far. If you wish to join the Alpess will be back before sunset, as she had told everyone. So about that hole?"

Zara nodded, smiling gratefully at Lupa. "Thank you." She said for explaining the situation to her for someone she didn't even know. It was nice to see not every wolf or pack is corrupted or bad as her birth pack was. It was actually a relief more then anything for it meant Zara wasn't alone of how she felt or how she was.

"The hole is big enough for the pup now. If you want you can help me carry the body?" Zara asked though dreading it. This was the worst part she wasn't looking forward to. But death is something Zara was raised around, you would think that she'd grown use to it

And I'm pullin' for you to push through this feeling

Niko wonders into the den feeling lost. The overwhelming scent of other wolves is unfamiliar to her and feels her with a deep sense of fear. Silently she pads to sit in the corner. The mention of pups that were killed is swarming around the camp laying an uneasy atmosphere. Niko sits up straight, her tail wrapped around her paws, as she observes the other wolves, some busy with pack duties and others relaxing and chatting. It is much more welcoming than spending time with her father, she has to forget that, this is her life now.

"Thought"

"Text or other’s speech"

Motomo walked through the undergrowth, his tail swaying behind him happily. Still he was searching for the pack with is hopefully lover in it. He approached a borderland the faint smell of scents filled his nostrils and so did other scent. Death. This scent was quite familiar with Motomo, his practises alone used death as the key. One more scent other than the scent of a pack was a bear, by the looks of things it had been gone for a while. Motomo continued to walk forward tail now dropped down and not swaying and the way he walked snowed his sadness.

As Motomo emerged from the bushes he walked into what seemed like a battlefield, dead bodies of pups lay strune across the ground. Three different groups of wolves remained, two wolves digging a hole and talking, three wolves together one seemed to be a healer and the other two being healed and finally a group of four surrounding what looked to be a dead adult or a sleeping one. He didn't know which group to go to, all of them were interesting enough. What if he did them all? "Go to each one and listen for a while then go back to the group that seems nicest." He thought.

Motomo decided to go towards the digging group first where a pure black female and a black female with white markings were digging. One of them spoke information about the pack. "The former Alpha has returned, too and well he is seeing an old friend who they thought to be dead. The current Alpess went off into the mountains for a breather. But I think the former Alpha has come back to reclaim his title." She said. The wolves were busy and Motomo stood and watched as the wolves continued digging and the pure black female carried on. "That is all I know so far. If you wish to join the Alpess will be back before sunset, as she had told everyone. So about that hole?" She continued. Motomo took in all the information, he would need it.

He turned to walk to the healing group but stayed quite a distance from them as they looked busy. One wolf was chewing herbs and sticking them into another wolf's leg. “Pain is weakness leaving the body. But through that, I'd rather have the weakness.” Said the wolf that was being treated. So mant things were going on, he apparently had a dislocated joint. Motomo watched as he seemed to be flirting with a female not to far off. She was quite a specimen but Motomo didn't go for females anyway. He liked males, to him they were more friendly and welcoming. Motomo decided to move on to the larger group.

He walked past the healing group slowly and came to another. A cream wolf was there along with a black wolf on the floor and a few others surrounding the one on the floor. ‘’He died months ago... rabies... how can he be alive...? How can he be alive...? S-Shadow... Shadow... A-Are you truly a-alive...? But... but... rabies... you died... How...?’’ Said the cream wolf. He seemed to be panicking about the wolf on the floor. Motomo wanted to comfort him but he thought he'd wait until he knew what the other wolves were doing first. "Jeames, please! Calm down! This is not Shadow, he died after he caught rabies, just like you said. I admit he does look a lot like Shadow, but Shadow is dead. Many wolves have dark fur with amber eyes." Said another wolf with strange markings. "That's hardly going to help the matter! I should go comfort him." He thought, but should he? Motomo was kind not someone who would sit back and watch a sad wolf, so for the first time in a while he walked up to another wolf, the cream one, and raised his head high. Motomo nuzzled his head into the wolf that had been referred to as Jeames and spoke into his ear softly, "Its okay, Jeames. I'm here, if you want to get some air or vent come with me." Motomo rubbed his red fur onto Jeames cream fur and waited for a response, Jeames' personality to Motomo was kind too- something he liked. A lot.

Lupa didn't know what emotions to feel she was confused and didn't really know what to do. "That would be great." Zara said to her as she began to dig. Lupa dug her claw into the soft ground, ripping away ficiously at it. She was thinking whilst she did it but then Zara said something again. "Were the pups hers?" Lupa stopped her digging and looked neutral again, " Yes." She then realised how uncaring she sounded. "I'm sorry, I don't really understand showing emotions very well. I've been a lone wolf for a long time." She looked down her face strange she didn't know the emotion she felt. It was like an old friend to her. Sadness. The last time she felt sadness was when her mother was slaughtered, hardly sadness more pain than that. "The hole is big enough for the pup now. If you want you can help me carry the body?" Lupa shook her head, she could tell the pain Zara was feeling. "Let me do it. I can tell your sadness." Lupa walked over to the pup and gently grabbed it by the scruff in her teeth and brought it over to the hole. Lupa gently placed it in the hole and spoke once more. "We better cover the poor thing." She said.

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Post by Hikaru Mon Aug 31, 2015 4:01 pm

Hikaru padded along behind the two wolves as he allowed BM100 to lead the way back to the den. He had a good idea himself where it was having been there a few times after exploring the places that surrounded the den. Though he wanted BM100 to help, to give the poor wolf a tiny job and let him start to build up himself.
He smiled and yawned a bit, turning his head to look around at the forest as they walked. The trees and their leaves were beautiful this time of year. Hikaeu hadn't really gotten to see many since where he had been raised greenery was few and far between.
Sudden Hikaru caught onto a very familiar scent. Wolves. He took a deep breath as the smells if the pack filled his senses. They were so close now he could ever hear others barking and talking to one another.
He chuckled and let out a bark of happiness as he quickened his steps and caught up to BM100. He steadyed his pace with the other wolf's before speaking in a cheerful tone. "Good job, my little Koinu. You did it. I'm so proud of you."
Hikaru licked his cheek once before leaning over and nuzzling his muzzle against BM100's. "You see? Your so helpful and can do so much when you try and calm your nerves. Your around friends and we'll help when we can. So don't be scared or worry anymore. You did great~"
Hikaru nodded at Shun yelling over his shoulder as he took off. "Hurry up. I think I hear one of the Alphas now." He then turned forward and popped thru the bushies into the main den.
Looking around he noticed a few wolves he didn't know. Had more come while he was away? Seeing Jeamesero he knew who that was and decided he was their beat bet probably. The others around him might be able to help too.
Slowly he padded over to them, waiting till he was a short ways off before speaking. "Greeting Jeamesero and company." He bowed his head in respect, waiting a bit before continuing. "Do any of you know where the Alphas are? I found a wolf who wants to speak with them, says he's been here before, yes?"
Hikaru turned his muzzle to Shun, making sure he had the information correct and also giving the wolf time to speak for himself. As he awaited the wolves respond he found himself getting lost in the wolves two beautifully different colored eyes. Had they always been like that and Hikaru hadn't noticed or had he just forgot? Either way he didn't realise his staring.

Reaper walked into the den site he had seen Jeamesero pass him on the way back but he had needed to stop and make sure he could maintain control of Kain's body because he had thought Kain might be fighting back but alas it had just been nothing that needed be worried about. "Still he will try to take back control sooner or later it all depends on my actions when he does."
Kain mean while was watching and waiting from behind the scenes it was true he had tested Reapers resolve making him stop and wonder this was both their lives inner twined forever struggling against each other till death after and beyond. "Will our war ever end?" Kain wondered with a dieing thirst for this knowledge.
Reaper at that moment was circling the camp looking to see all that had happened while they had been gone several new wolves had appeared it seemed but he would worry about them later where was Jeamesero. It was important that he keep him close and bring him to his side for the sake of keeping up this new leaf facade to trick Kain and to have his power at his call when he needed it. Reaper new he had irritated him with his previous actions but he would make it up to the insane monster when the next time came. "This pack can be ours it can be mine but not alone is possible at this point I need that wolf's strength at my side before I can play the grim reaper of this pack and hold all lives in my jaws."
Finally he spotted Jeamesero to one side but what was this has one of the newcomers was approaching him and as Reaper continued to watch it seemed as if this wolf was trying to gain Jeamesero's attention. "This I will not stand for this new wolf will not ruin my plans I don't care about Kain's pathetic needs of love and friendship. But me I have need of Jeamesero's darker side." and with that reaper headed down down from the small hill he'd been observing from and approached the new wolf saying harshly to get his point across while he let his fur brush Jeamesero's.  "And just what do you think your doing pup stepping in here?"
Reaper glared into the newcomers with hostile intent he would gladly step it up if this pup pushed him. "I think it would be best if you left us be if you know what I mean."

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Post by Makoce Tue Sep 01, 2015 11:35 pm

Makoce stared at Kazimir, rolling her eyes as he continued to tease.

"Makoce, I will be sure to show you that kindness is not foreign to me. We will make sure it is no longer foreign to you."

"We?"

She asked, scoffing, regaining her sarcasm.

She saw a look on Topaz's face, and with no hesitance, popped Kazimir's dislocated joint back into place. Makoce watched Kazimir closely, listening intently and watching his facial expression and body language. A snarl, bared teeth, a growling of short slightly poetic words, a bristling of his fur. However, seconds later he was back to his old self. Makoce tilted her head, intrigued. Of course, she's never had a broken bone or a dislocation, but from the sound of it she guessed that it was painful.

"Pain is weakeness leaving the body. But through that, I'd rather have the weakness."

That's one way of putting it.

This male was eccentric. She didn't know what to expect of him. She had this feeling towards him; all she wanted to do was test the crap out of him, push him to his limits, tease him back, push him away. It was an odd feeling, and she couldn't identify it.

"We're a little decrepit, aren't we?"

"Well of course."

She said half heartedly.

So while things were calming down, she began to test her physical abilities. She slowly stood, carefully taking steps towards the other members. Something else was going on in one of the groups, and she didn't want to get too involved, so she passed by the group, glancing between the members. She didn't really recognize any of them, but there were many faces flashed at her at once. She walked away from them, seeing how far away from the broken hearts, broken spirits, and broken bodies she could get. She hadn't trained in a while, and she was wondering if she might could go to a different part of the territory. But for now, she'd stay here. She kept her eyes on the ground, focusing on her walking. Her wound felt better, and she felt stronger, which was good. But now what was she to do?

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Post by Roki Tue Sep 01, 2015 11:45 pm

Roki nuzzled his nose and cheeks against Kanaya's fur, trying to keep himself calm but being a pup he was more then a bit confused. Confused aboout Navin and if he was okay, confused about Mommy Verine and why she had refused to help her son, and most of all confused as to what he was supposed to do now.
He heard the wolves around him and over him speaking to one another, but couldn't really make it out what all was being said. He did hear a bit of worry inn the female above him's voice while the male right next to her seemed in a state of disbelief.
Roki whimpered softly, unsure of everything happening around him. What were they speaking of and worried about? Did they finally realize Navin needed help and were discussing how to help the poor pup?
'I hope they hurry up with a plan soon... He was so cold and still and his... his eyes...' Roki let out a yelp, terrierfiying himself at his sudden thoughts. He pushed his way deeper into the females fur, trying his very best to still his whimpers and tears that were forever growing out of his control.
Suddenly Roki heard his name and shifted his weight around before popping his head out between Kanaya's front legs. "Roki? I'm Roki. What's up, Mommy Naya?" Roki blinked and sniffled softly as he looked straight up at her. What had she called him for?
He heard two males speaking nearby and turned to look at Jeames. He shivered a tiny bit, still scared that the wolf might yell at him or speak in a evil tone like before. He hadn't liked it and was very edgy towards the male now. Did he not like Roki or something?
After a few moments of thinking Roki realized the male was quite a bit like his daddy. When he spoke he went straight to the point. The pup hated it cuz often he heard stuff he didn't understand or didn't like at all. 'Is he mad at something I did? Or maybe he find's me annoying and stuffs...' The pup thought to himself.
Upon hearing some words from one of the males though Roki yelped softly in fear and curled his tail and ears tightly around his body. He backed up against Kanaya again and sniffed up at her to get her attention before he spoke.
His voice was a very soft and cute little bark as he tried to force out his words. "Mommy Naya... Are they gonna fight? I don't like fighting and I'm scared somewolf will get hurt..." Whimpering softly he nuzzled his muzzle against Kanaya's tummy as he waited to see what would happen.

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Although today you may weep cause you're weakened

And everything seems so bleak and hopeless

"Yes."

How terrible. Being leader of a pack and losing pups, Zara couldn't even imagine how stressful that is. Talk about emotional toll.

"I'm sorry, I don't really understand showing emotions very well. I've been a lone wolf for a long time."

Zara shook her head with a small chuckle as she did so, it actually didn't cross her mind about how blunt Lupa said it. "It's fine, I'm the same really." She replied with smile as her head was titled to the side. "So use to talking to myself that I might say things others won't particularly like or agree with. Or just plain weird."

Zara couldn't help but relate to Lupa, only being in one pack half of her life and the other half a rouge. Though she would hardly call that a pack.

"Let me do it. I can tell your sadness."

Zara couldn't help the small sigh of relief that left her muzzle as she watched Lupa carry the pup into its grave. She couldn't help but feel bad for letting her do that herself, Zara should of been stronger and did it herself or help her. But something about a death of a pup was much different then one of a full grown wolf. "Thank you." She finally breath out after staring down at the grave for a few long seconds.

"We better cover the poor thing."

The female nodded before began burying the pup with the dirt surrounding the grave. It didn't take long to do so, Zara subconsciously did it quite fast so she wouldn't have to see the body without help of Lupa. "Flowers." Zara mumbled as she took steps in the direction she saw them before.

After a few seconds she came across a few blue and white ones. They were perfect, not too small nor big. Leaning down Zara pulled the flowers from the dirt gently as she was careful not to rip them. Successfully removing them from the soil she made her way back to the grave and Lupa. When reaching the spot Zara bent down over the grave, placing the flowers over the dirt before sitting besides the pile of soil.

"May you find happiness, small one in the after life. Just know your light will always be here in this pack ground watching over us all." Zara spoke out softly as she felt the need to say something, or maybe she was just weird like that.

And I'm pullin' for you to push through this feeling

"Thought"
"Speech"
"Text or other’s speech"

Lupa looked at Zara with eyes of respect, she too had been a lone wolf for a long time. "So use to talking to myself that I might say things others won't particularly like or agree with. Or just plain weird." She said. Lupa nodded in agreement, she too said some pretty weird things, Lupa had even frightened a pup. "Thank you." Zara said, she had a hint of relief in her voice. Lupa respected the wolf's sorrow it was something everyone should feel. A real emotion. "No problem." Lupa said knowing what its like to loose family. It made her feel bad but at the same time she knew it was better than any pain it could've gone through with the injuries it had.

"Flowers." Zara mumbled, breaking Lupa from her thoughts and walking over to some blue and white flowers. The wolf then placed them down gently and spoke something that Lupa didn't really understand but it was something special, she'd never came across it before. "May you find happiness, small one in the after life. Just know your light will always be here in this pack ground watching over us all." Were her words. "Nice, I like it. You did well there, keeping your calm. You've experienced this before, haven't you?" Lupa asked. "You act as though you have, I have." Lupa knew she'd sucked at this.... Really badly.

Niko stared at the pack as they hurried around. She could only catch snippets of their words. She began to fear for a few of the wolves, some looked distraught and she wondered if it had anything to do with the recent crisis. From what she could gather, the old alpha had returned. It seemed that he needed to earn his place back whilst other wolves held the position of alpha. It would be an interesting turn out. Niko lay down with her head resting on her paws as she continued to watch the pack, she felt as though these were wolves she could trust, even if at the moment they seemed riddled with chaos.

Mentioned : Maverick and current Alphas

After waiting a while for the dark wolf [Shadow] to respond, three other wolves [Hikaru, BM100, and Shun] showed up. The light wolf [Hikaru] asked where Cass and Veri were, and also wished to confirm if the big dark wolf [Shun] had been in the pack before. He turned to them.
"Hello there. Currently Veri is off by herself, and I don't know where Cass is at the moment. As being the former alpha, I think it's safe to say that it's appropriate to speak to me, though you may wait for the current alphas to return if you so wish,"
he said with a nod. Mave noticed a multi-colored female [Niko] lurking around. Either she was a stranger or maybe she was just quiet. He turned back to the three wolves [Hikaru, Shun, BM100], dipped his head then went to approach the female [Niko].
"Hi there. Are you part of this pack?"

Niko fixed her deep yellow eyes on the wolf walking towards her, she had never seen one like him. Then again, the only wolf she had become familiar with was her father, and all the wolves that surrounded her looked much more well built, it became apparent just how scrawny her father actually was.
She shied her eyes away as he addressed her.
"Hi there, are you part of this pack?"
Niko turned to look at him. His eyes seemed determined yet kind and this comforted her, yet a chill simultaneously rocketed through her as she realised that she had entered a packs territory. After many moons on the run and lacking nutrients, Niko decided that she had best stay on this wolf good side.
" Hi, yeah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude, I was in the area and just... sorry" Niko apologised, the words echoed, the last thing she wanted was the be attacked by a wolf if this size, she was in no state to defend herself.

"No, don't be sorry. It's alright. What's your name?"
Mave asked after the wolf [Niko] apologized for coming into the territory.
The wolf seemed afraid... but of what? They weren't going to attack her. Maybe because of his size and dominant posture?

"Oh, allow me to introduce myself; my name is Mave,"
he added. He sat down, waiting for the wolf' response.

Niko froze, she wasn't about to get hurt? This wolf seemed... friendly...kind...different somehow.
"Oh, allow me to introduce myself, my names Mave"
Niko pondered whether to tell this wolf, Mave, her true name. He seemed trustworthy, but so dud her father...
"My name is Niko, its nice to meet you" She decided that her previous fear was misplaced, this wolf seemed gentle. When she looked into Mave's eye she could she the same kindness that was reflected in his voice, maybe he didn't pose a threat.
Niko let her body relax as she spoke, she could feel the warmth she felt as a pup, not the fear she had come to know.
Maybe it wasn't so bad after all.

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Post by Verine Mon Sep 07, 2015 7:36 pm

Returning from Sapphire Mountains
_______

Verine moved slowly into the clearing, her eyes glazing over the wolves who may or may not have been around. She didn't care. The thought of fulfilling her duties as alphess made her brain pound harder than the sound of her shattering heart.
Her footfalls were heavy, and uncoordinated, serving only to move her from Point A to Point B; there was no grace in her movements.
She was unaware of the conversations about her, just as she was clueless to the general topic to be of the slaughter of her children. Dead. All dead...
The briefest of images of Cassiel swam through her vision, a blurred hallucination of him atop a buttery, ivory female with piercing green eyes, clueless to the events that happened to his children.
Some rational part of her, buried beneath all the lamentation, knew that Cass knew just as much about the bear ripping their childrens' fragile bodies out of this world, but she refused to notice it.
She was angry. She was sorrowful and distracted by the pain in the center of her chest. She could feel a surge of vomit bubbling at the base of her throat, tickling her flaring insecurities and regret for not being there.
She wanted nothing more but to die with her pups. Don't you mean after? Its not like you were there to save them...
She had failed, all her life. She had failed to fulfill her fathers desires, she had failed to protect her deceased mate, she had failed to birth her first pups. She had failed to keep her current mate satisfied, and she had failed to save her first pups before they had even reached a year. They had no way of defending themselves... That was your job.

Verine continued to drag herself through camp, sheltering herself behind the cover of some vegetation; She didn't have the strength to try and figure out whether or not it was even poisonous. In fact, whatever toxins it would have brought on would have been eagerly welcomed.
She collapsed, sighing heavily and blinking back the next wave of tears. She had already gotten through most of her sobbing while alone in the mountains, there was no need to relive such an ugly habit when she had to pretend to be a leader.

Addressed; None.
Mentioned; Cass, Kannie, Casserine 1.0, Riadven, Ivan, Father, unborn litter, birth pack.

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Post by Winter Mon Sep 07, 2015 7:54 pm

She felt like a sickness.
There was no reason for her to think that it had been her fault; there was no way she was responsible for a bear wandering into the territory and wreaking havoc upon the alphas pups, just like she couldn't be the one to blame for the pups being so defenseless. Its just the way it happened.
But she felt guilty. She felt like she was the sole reason. Had you decided to off yourself, maybe the bear would have come to you. An urge to do just that slammed full force into her cranium.
Had you faced the mammal yourself, you would have lessened the burden of your life on this pack. I could have sacrificed myself for the sake of those pups. A sick, twisted and nervous laughter bubbled out from between her lips, the stench of a fragile mentality suddenly becoming stronger.

Winter moved on shaky legs towards the scene of the crime, her face split into a maniacal, happyish grin. However, the position of her facial features did not reflect the pain she felt inside, and rather she felt as though she was undergoing the pain of parental abuse. Her guilt for being the illogical reason for the Casserine pups began to steadily morph into her seeing herself as the victim; She began to think of herself as one of Verines daughters, of Cassiels favorite. She was their little child, left to the horrors of facing a bear with her siblings.
Victimizing herself was a new habit she had never really experienced. She was completely unaware of the process, too distracted by her sudden urge to scream and cry on the ground, to cradle the corpses of her "siblings" and blame mommy and daddy.
She slowly began to move towards Cassiel, tears spilling over her cheeks despite her wide grin and glittering eyes. He was wrapped around the slaughtered children, and while to anyone else it would seem that he was shaking with sorrow, to Winter, she perceived the alpha as to be shaking with laughter. How DARE you mock me and my siblings?!? WE LOVED YOU! DAMN YOU!
Her anger was unheard though, and though she approached with intent to shred her newfound daddy, she slowed, face falling as the alpha stood and backed away from the dead.
Of course he was wounded. You'd have to be crazy to think otherwise...

The illusion of the alphas as her parents, as the Casserine pups as her brothers and sister evaporated, and she spun to flee the scene, intent on finding Caro in hopes of washing away the horror of her insanity.

Addressed; No one.
Mentioned; Cassiel, Verine, Casserine 1.0, Caro, parents.
Notes; Ahhh, its been so long since I've roleplayed Winter in her natural, loopy element. Feels good. SORRY TO ANYONE I MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE CONFUSED/SCARED. Winter is just a crazy, delusional wolf of mine.<3 --Verine.

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Post by Keane Mon Sep 07, 2015 8:48 pm

Keane sat quietly on the fringe of the gathering of those that were sobbing over the death of pups.
Sure, he was moved a little, but more than anything, he felt breathless. She had lived. The only one he had cared about, untouched.
That being said, he had no idea of her whereabouts. She had moved away from him since their last encounter, and he didn't know if she was purposely avoiding him, or if he just wasn't looking hard enough.

Paranoia washed over him, and his paws began to twitch with an aggressive repetitiveness. She could be actually hurt and could be trying to hide her insecurity from me. I have to find her.
The thought of Dido actually upset, maybe physically in trouble, sent him to his feet, and he began to track her. Like an animal. She's going to kick the shit out of me when she knows that Im finding her like this...
He didn't really care though, only set on matching her location with his and ensuring that she was mostly alright.

Ahhh, and what a gem it was to see the yearling wham her paw into the skull of some other wolf. A threat... Vanquish it.
Instant fury began to bubble inside him, and he quickly increased his pace to run over to the male and take him on. It would have been an easy task.
But, his eyes tracked after Dido, and so, without yet having the opportunity to make himself known to the brute that dare cause Dido such outrage, he shifted his direction and trailed after her, jogging over to the other side of the clearing in her footsteps.

"Dido." He didn't say anything more, plopping down in front of her and suppressing the urge to immediately bombard her with questions. Insecurity and a chilling fear of not being enough, that she had to go to a new male, was enough to make him lash out, and he didn't need her to confirm what he was sure off, so he remain quiet.
He felt kind of broken, and longed to have the female curl up to him like she once did, but he spoke nothing of it, his ears flicking to decipher the incoherent, yet clearly harsh words that she was tossing past her lips, under her breath.
And then he was angry. She got herself into the situation, did she not? If you had stuck with me, you wouldn't be crying over some stupid mishap that you created, you ignorant tool!
But, despite the angry twitch of his paws, he forced himself to stay silent, because while furious, he just wanted to be held by the darling girl. Her happiness meant more, and perhaps, if he kept her happy, she could keep him happy.

Addressed; Dido.
Mentioned; Dido, Kazi, Casserine/Casserine 1.0
Notes; And now Im caught up with all my charries. Sorry for making Keanes so awful T-T

The Main Den - Page 18 Empty Re: The Main Den

Post by Makoce Mon Sep 07, 2015 11:26 pm

Makoce's nostrils flared. She caught two familiar scents; Verine, and another that brought on the mixed emotions of anger and amusement. Winter. Makoce remembered her well. Makoce slowly grinned, thinking about their previous conversations. She caught sight of Verine first, and she watched as the alpha female ignored the wolves around her, instead she seemed focused only on getting away from them. She was zoned out; lost in her own little world. She saw the alpha female physically crumble and lay in some greenery, and in reaction Makoce stopped walking and instead simply looked at the alpha female.

Is this what a broken heart looks like?

She wondered, tilting her head. She then glanced over at Winter, and silently observed her. She seemed a bit different than last time. This time, she really paid attention to what had happening. Makoce tilted her head once more as she saw the female grin, and then Makoce narrowed her eyes as she saw tears flow down the still smiling Winter's cheeks. Suddenly, she dashed off.

Later.

She thought. Now was not the time to speak to her. She looked back over at Verine, and a wave of nervousness came over Makoce.

You've got to say something to her.

Makoce slowly began walking towards her, unsure of what to say or do, or if she should even do anything at all.

This is your chance. It's time to learn. You can have what these wolves have, but you've got to work for it. This is finally your chance to make a connection. Maybe make a friend.

She forced herself to keep advancing towards Verine, her mind racing with things she should say and things she shouldn't say. She still didn't want to open up to anyone yet; there was just simply not much of a story and it would bore everyone anyway, wouldn't it? But she was ready to learn sympathy. She wanted to take a step. Finally, she reached her, and for a few seconds, she was quiet.

"Alpha Verine..."

She was about to ask how she was doing, but it was quite clear even to Makoce that she was not doing well.

"I apologize... I could have saved them. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know."

Makoce took a deep breath. She emphasized the word "help," because she knew that Makoce had failed at helping before. She failed at her job. She wanted to fix it.

Sympathy, sympathy...

"How are you holding up?"

She asked.

Is that it? That's all you can do?

Makoce thought. She swallowed her negativity for a moment and tried to focus on Verine. She didn't know her that well, but if she were in Verine's position, she probably would have lashed out at a guardian who didn't guard her children. Makoce was unsure if Verine was that kind of wolf, so she didn't know what to expect. Andrenaline pumped through her veins, and her heart began to pulse. She feared Verine lashing out at her, because that would be Makoce's limit. Makoce would break down right in front of everybody, and all of her built up anger, jealousy, and pessimism would burst from her. Years of hiding herself from others would be over. And that was weakness to her.
